This is our much beloved 50 Plymouth Suburban wagon.  I've had a couple of hundred offers to buy it, but my wife would divorce me and have me killed if I did.

The car is currently undergoing a complete rebuild/restoration.

The suspension has been rebuilt, but left stock with upgrades to disc brakes front, and a late model Mopar rear end for modern brakes all round. I did move the front shock uppers to a frame mounted location for better handling.  Rack and pinion steering is in the plans also.

Plans are to install a rebuilt slant/6 automatic drive train which offers some benefits that would make the car more user friendly for my wife, and I want her to be happy, believe me.  The slant/6 allows automatic trans, power steering and brakes, and air conditioning.

New rockers are being welded in, new front floors and a firewall graft from a Volare. The sliding side windows are being made into one piece fixed glass. The vent windows in the doors are being removed and replaced with one piece glass also.  All new glass and rubber.

Some serious sound and heat insulation is on tap, new paint everywhere and upholstery to finish it off.

Lot's to do, but a project I've waited years to be able to do and look forward to completing.
